Here are the pictures of the crochet dress that we made for a doll. We used the pineapple crochet pattern to make this gown. We have used two colors of yarn: pink and white. We also crocheted a matching hat. We have decorated the skirt using silver color sequins and the top using pink color sequins.
This is a blog about my hobbies and day to day creativity that are simple and interesting.

Crochet Solomon's Knot
One of the easiest crochet techniques is the Solomon's Knot. It is very very simple to do and the crochet project can be completed very quickly. The result of the crochet project looks so beautiful and marvelous. I crocheted a V-shaped shawl in a double shaded color (purple and white) using Solomon's Knot method. You can see some of the pictures of the shawl that I did below. When you crochet, the knot formations look like flowers that are connected to each other.
It looks very lovely in this deep purple color. The knots look so beautiful.

Peacock Embroidery
I have done this peacock embroidery using multicolored embroidery threads and beautiful blue colored sequins. I did it on a pink cloth and got it framed. It looks lovely on my veranda wall.
I used the sequins to embroider the feathers of the peacock and also it's eye. Using multicolored threads saved the time and effort to alternate between different colors of threads. And, moreover I guess it looks nice.

Lord Ganesha
I painted this statue of Lord Ganesha that was made out of terracotta. And, made a dhindu set (cushion set) using a lovely metallic pink fabric. Stitched a border of beads to give it an enhanced look. I made the dhindu cushions (Bolsters) by filling some sponge and cotton into it and sewed the outer edges.

Crochet Hairpin Lace
Crochet hairpin laces are done using the crochet hairpin (also known as U-Pin). They are pretty easy to make and looks elegant. It takes very little time to complete even a large shawl. The hairpin is available in different sizes. Here is a shawl that I made using the crochet hairpin size 5. Basically you have to work on a simple crochet pattern using this pin and join the edges of each of the crochet lines worked to form a shawl or a quilt. I have used two colors, pink and pearl white.
